The Grant Fuller workshop went far beyond my expectations!! It really
was a significant opportunity for me and I'm very glad to have been
able to participate.
A special thanks to you for the arrangements. Everything went smoothly
and you were a great and encouraging hostess for our group.
Also, I'd like to thank Elsa for the fantastic lunches. Interesting and
enjoyable food and lots of it. Her personality also was appreciated as
she seemed to enjoy the group and all appreciated her comments on our
'attempts'.
To Tracy, I'll never forget the fresh
prawns for lunch . Thanks for a real and unusual treat!!
I've sent a separate note of thanks to Grant as he made the workshop work for
all of us. He is a very talented painter with the skill to teach often
quite subtly. He kept us going with his low key approach.
As a relative beginner , and, after 40 plus years as an engineer and
businessman, with no interest in art, the workshop gave me a learning
opportunity beyond what I've been able to get here in Austin. Maybe it was
partly because of my love of B.C., but, I suspect it was simply the 'workshop'.
Again, sincere thanks for a very
exceptional week.
