Take your portraiture and figurative painting to the beaches
of Mexico!
The bright tropical
light of Mexico provides high contrast settings where it will be easier to define form by value changes, dark/light, and cool/warm shifts.
Combine that with proportional
measuring, toss in some classical techniques and tips using a variety of opaque
mediums and stir it all into the relaxed setting of the small
fishing village of Melaque on the West Coast of the "Mexican Riviera". Painting from live models each day, combined with the
local plein-air landscape, Perri’s daily demos and instruction will get you
painting better than ever! What a great way to enjoy Mexico and paint away your
winter blues!
Days will be flexible, with some
formal painting instruction, some day trips, and time to paint on your own.

FOR MEXICO

Rate: $1250 Canadian
plus GST. (this rate may change when we know what kind of room you need)
Non-painters may join us $650-$800, depending on accommodations
occupancy.
Rate includes 7 nights accommodation and breakfast, some other meals,
model fees, some tours, and instruction.
Air fare is not included in
the rate.
Payment:
50% when reservation is made, balance
payable 60 days before the workshop. Minimum 6 people, 10 students maximum.

in Melaque has rooms and bungalows for us, they
are right on the beach with a lot of beautiful places to paint nearby.
